We will be camping in a field located in the county island just west of our neighborhood on Fairview drive (south side of the road, about half way in between Higley and Greenfield). We should all meet at the Church at 5:30 PM and we'll ride over together.
Scouting for food is this weekend; as part of our camp, we will collect the food Saturday morning. Please don't forget to leave any non-perishable food items out on your doorstep that morning for us to collect. We will be doing this Saturday morning, and then they will go sell flag subscriptions to the neighborhood. It is important that everyone wears their scout uniform.
Everyone boy should plan on cooking themselves a meal. For the boys that don't yet have their cooking merit badge, this is one of their chances to cook an outdoor meal that they planned (and priced).
The boys should be prepared for rain and cold. They should bring:
-Sleeping bag, tent and/or tarp
-warm clothes
-Jacket and possibly gloves
-personal toiletries
-first aid kit
-2 liters of water
-rain poncho
-Scout Uniform
