We will be going to the Black River for camping, swimming, and fishing. We are leaving from the church at 5:00 PM and we expect to return before dinner on Saturday.
Boy Scouts are encouraged to travel to and from activities in full scout uniform (uniform shirt, uniform pants OR uniform shorts with uniform socks, and uniform belt). Please arrive at the church in uniform.
We will be camping near our cars. The boys should bring:
Swimming suit
Sunblock
Towel
Sleeping bag
Tent OR tarp
Camp Chair
Personal Toiletries
Personal First Aid kit
Change of dry clothes and extra socks
$10 for lunch and permit on the trip home
Utensils for eating
flashlight
Each boy should either eat dinner before we leave or plan on cooking themselves a late dinner at camp.The boys should plan on cooking their own breakfast.As a reminder,many of the boys in the troop are still working on their cooking merit badge. A square meal planned and cooked on this camp-out can pass off the outdoor meal requirement.
